Why are Canadians so stingy?

after a month here, I noticed that Canadians are "the swiss of North America", however they are way too stingy. Anybody knows why?Anonymous26 九月 2005, 12:42

I think you mave have had bad luck.
Canadians are what I will call a bunch of "conservative liberals" (an oxymoron). In a sense the culture about being Canadian is extremely polite. (Haven't you noticed that Canadians say "I am sorry" for everything?)
On the other half, there is no more open minded culture in north america.
Oh well, that is my opinion (and I am not Canadian)

Well i too agree that canadians are too stingy coz im working in a s/w development company and i deal with US and canadian clients , Im my experience the 100's of canadian clients i saw are stingy and they call it as wise investment.. By the way iam an IndianJeff18 六月 2009, 11:32 - 举报滥用
