Hotel / Motel in Dubai

Hi
I am visiting Dubai for meeting a few Employment Consultants and Companies for possible job opportunities. Can anyone tell me where I can find info about cheap decent hotels/motels for staying 4-5 nights....hopefully in the central Dubai... keeping in mind that I wont have my own transport and will need to use public transport to visit the employment consultants....
I serahced the internet and i keep getting the hotels that are US$70 - $140 / night....which is really very expensive...
any help would be appreciated...

Hi I have a nice huge room with attached bathroom, has cupboards with terrace in Dubai very near the trade center. The building is very new and in a dcent location with easy access to groceries, bakery, bus stop/station and taxis.
