hi I am working for service company in uk.my visa status is work permit...I decide to bring my parents here for six months to stay here..but for that they asked me to submit six month bank statement of my parents.. they r having account but no transaction for the past six months..can u tell what to do? is there any alternative documents?
I was able to bring in my mother here in the UK on a visit visa for 6 mos.
You could probably mention that you will be fully paying for all their travel and all expenses whilst in the Uk and get rid of the bank statement requirement from your parents. That would mean you will be the only one who will be providing those details.

Living in the UK with me, my wife is expecting her first baby by the end Dec 2009. She would like for her Iraqi mother to join us a month before and a month after the birth. I am not too sure what UK visa to apply for?
