Hi! All those who want to get a dependant visa for husband/wife:
You need to have the following documents:
Marriage Certificate
Sponsor letter, saying you would like to sponsor your husband/wife to join you in the UK.
Passport and Visa copy of the person who is sponsoring
Bank statements of the person who is sponsoring
Rent agreement or Mortgage papers to show that you have big enough house for two persons to live in.
The person who is applying for the visa should have:
Passport
Bank statements ( should show enough money)
Normally dependent visa is given without much problem. The visa officer needs to see that you can live in the UK without getting any help from the govt. So as long as you can show enough funds there should not be a problem.

He has been working on HSMP for a 3 years.We've been had a relationship for about 2 years and live together. All paperwork to prove our relationship (bills, correspondence, photos) can be supplied.
I read something like I must have stayed in a relationship or marriage for two years...I wondering if this immigration law will help my application in anyway. But i don't have any viza...

My Brother, a UK National lives with his family of three dependents in Hounslow. He wishes to sponsor me for a Visit Visa to the UK to visit his family in Hounslow. My question is that can he based on his Payslips, Savings, Bank Statement and a large enough House of more than 2 rooms, sponsor me for the visit as his Brother?
