how easy is it to get bar/pub work in new zealand?

Hi,

I am looking at doing 12 months work and holiday in New Zealand, travelling around both North and South Island.

I will be looking at doing mainly bar work in Pubs/Restaurants/Hotels/Etc
But I am open to anything, I enjoy new experiences.

How easy is it to get this temporary work (E.G 3/6 months)?
