If anyone is purchasing in Cyprus, you will need to consider everything where you will purchase your currency from, the banks in cyprus have very competitive rates but i found that they were chrging me for receiving the currency. I then found a search engine called currencyfinder.co.uk and it provided me with companies offering the best rate and i saved myslelf a liitle bit of money which i was not prepared to let the banks have. Hope this is of help to people.
