     Qatar Aircraft Catering Company is government owned & the only flight kitchen situated at Doha Int’l Airport. The job includes all Purchases of Local & overseas and reporting to Purchase Manager. The flight kitchen handled daily 110 flights mostly Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, All Int’l Flights flying outside Doha.

     Purchase Order made according to the value of the purchase order. The higher amount purchase order is signed by the Qatar Airways CEO. The Material are procured from Overseas Vegetables, Fruits & other Product like Engg, Laundry, Dishwashing Parts etc..

     All the food purchases are done Hygienically good & Microbiology plays an Important role in the Flight Kitchen. If the item is not good Hygienically is rejected.

     Purchase Order Status is kept online with purchase Manager, G.M & the purchase Deptt. To track about the status of any Purchase Request.

     Monthly Orders are made for Non-Food after getting the purchase request from the respective Deptt.. The Food items are procured according to Menu Cycle changes of respective routes.

     The Amiri Flights Purchases are done strictly according to the Menu with extra precaution is checked for items procured as VIP flights.

     Purchase order & all query records are make in Orcale software which give all details regarding the procurement.

     Given the Independent Charge of the Purchase Deptt. & Reporting directly to Purchase Manager. The Hotel deals with all prestigious International guest as adjusted to Int’l Airport & Member of Leading Hotels of World. Beside this they have Five star Hotel in Mumbai.

     Purchase orders are issued according to the material procured from the various vendors under contract as well as rate approved firms.

     Handling all purchase related purchasing for Foods, Liquor, Engg. Items, Stationary items and misc items as per the purchase rule.

     Managing daily follow-ups procedure according to requisition filed by every user Dept. For their use.

     All data entries & purchase order are made in Shawman software which is widely used in all five star hotels.

    Work Profile: -

     The Hotel is one of the five Star Delux Hotel in Delhi with 200 Rooms, which is mostly used by the Business Trip as it is situated in the heart of New Delhi area. The hotel belongs to the APJ group of hotels which have 5 boutique hotels all over India.

     Co-ordination between the F & B Controller and Purchase Dept. Also assisting Store Executive and Receiving Executive of the organisation. The New items are tested according to the user Dept. Specification.

     Synergising with the Market Survey reports submitted twice a month for foods & Non-Foods items from various Dept. e.g. F & B Controller, Audit, Purchase & Account Dept. and accordingly make action plan on monthly basis for material procuring. issued/used before the shelf life.

     Prolofic Management System software was used to make purchase order & all receiving & Store entries which also used all over India in Procurement.

     Given the Independent Charge of the Purchase Deptt. & Reporting directly to Purchase Manager. The Company provide Five Star Flight Catering in all prestigious and International Flights viz. Indian Airlines, Air India, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Saudia Arabian Airlines, Swiss Air, Austrian Airlines, SAS, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Syrian Airways, Srilankan Airline and VIP Aircraft respectively at International Airport, New Delhi,Mumbai and Chennai have at par specification laid down & collaboration with Lufthansa Sky Chef, Frankfurt, Germany. Beside this they have many Five Star Hotel including Mumbai & Chennai Five star Hotel.

     To incorporate and manage last minute changes suggested by Executive Chef and F& B Manager depending upon changes in Menu’s from Airlines.

     Managing daily follow-ups procedure & successfully streamlined the product according to requisition filed by every user Dept. for their use. The material is procured according to the proper specification laid down & negotiations are made in best possible ways.

     Received an appreciation letter from head of the Deptt. for doing excellent work with sincerity & dedication.

     Also successfully participated in InfoTech Hotels Expo 2001 Seminar held at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.
