Getting married in Bahrain.

I am US citizen, I wish to marry Syrian citizen currently residing in Saudi Arabia. He is muslim, I am not. We wish to marry in Bahrain and eventually reside in KSA. Is there a waiting period, and how do we go about this? Please advise.
