Marriage regulations for Bahraini woman and expat man

My boyfriend (US national) and I (Bahrain national) are wanting to get married in Bahrain. We are both Muslims (he has recently converted to Islam). What is the best way to go about getting married? Would we have to get a religious ceremony AND a civil ceremony? How complicated would it be, if at all? What kind of rights would we get as a married couple in Bahrain?Confused12 May 2009, 08:14
