My partner is a Belgian national and is currently working in Dubai. We're both planning to go to Brussels this August. All the required papers have been completed except with the invitation letter. Is it OK if he writes a personal invitation letter ( not from his parents in Belgium ) since it is easier and efficient? Does he have to present himself along with the letter at the Consulate for this purpose? I need a quick reply, thanks for everyone who's willing to help.
