For EU-residents it shouldn't be too difficult to find a job. You're already allowed to work in Belgium.
I do think you should learn one of the languages (Flemish if you're going to work in Gent). You could also try to find a job in Brussels for the EU. They usually have high demand for people that speak Norwegian/Finish/etc ...
