We are fascinated about Canada and have been thinking for a couple of years already to make a round trip in Canada. Does anyone has a nice route / trip that we can follow and see all the best places?? Or just tips about what we really have to see?
Fly to Toronto and stay there for 2/3 days. Then rent a car <a href="http://www.carhire3000.com">Car hire</a> and visit the surrounding vignards and lakes. A bit further are also the amish villages. We did the whole reagion and it's to much to mention. The views, food, people are all unforgettable.
It really depends how much time you have and your budget. Seeing Canada by car is absolutely beautiful but driving from coast to coast and stopping to actually see sights and enjoying them will probably take about a month. The big three cities are recommended, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. As well, Quebec City is really nice, so is halifax on the east coast and Victoria on the west coast. Ski villages are really cute and generally have lots of outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, kayaking. Whistler and Sunshine are great resorts and are both in western canada. Northern Ontario and Quebec also have beautiful forrests and lakes if you want to go camping. It all depends on your timeline! Everything is quite far and pricey to get to via plane. Hope this helps.
