Just Landed is managed by a multinational team of professionals. All team members have experienced what it means to live abroad.
Just Landed was founded by Simon Lynch and Daniel Tschentscher. After experiencing the difficulties that go along with the move to a new country, they decided the time was ready for a new website that would help people to get settled abroad.
Simon co-founded Jobpartners in 1998 and was a main board director until early 2003. Jobpartners sell software solutions for Human Resources to large organisations, such as Xerox, Carrefour, Nike, Deutsche Post and France Telecom. It has raised over €35 million of venture capital and now generates significant revenues and is a market-leader in Europe. Simon has co-founded several other technology-based companies in the areas of online retail and publishing. His broad-based operational experience includes technology, sales and marketing. He is British and has lived in France and Spain.
Daniel has worked as a strategy consultant for the media industry, creating and implementing new digital new business for established media companies. He is author of the study ‘Grid Media – (Survival) Strategies for publishers in the Digital Age‘ and a regular speaker at media conferences. Previous experience includes the market launch of an Internet-based financial information system at OnVista, the launch of a radio agency and the market launch of Financial Times Deutschland. Daniel is German, holds an international MBA from Instituto de Empresa, speaks five European languages and has lived in the US, Brazil, Switzerland and Spain.
Morgan has previously worked in web development for eTheory and Insprired Web Solutions in New Zealand. He combines an excellent grasp of web technologies with a strong sense of what it is to be a user and actually make applications work. He has a Bachelors Degree in Information Science from Massey University and is currently learning Spanish.
Rebecca has been working with information technology for over 20 years. Previous experience includes working for Logica, British Airways, Reuters and Computer Associates. She has worked in diverse areas from robotics, through traffic management automation to enterprise applications. She is American and has previously lived in the UK for many years before coming to Spain.
Manuel has studied Computer Science at the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid. He was the first employee of the current technical team at Just Landed. Before joining Just Landed, he has worked as a sysadmin within his university and has taught a class in C. He is Spanish and speaks English and a little Italian.
Adam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Studies, both from the University of Minnesota. He has previously worked as a web developer for MoCo Inc and spent a year teaching English in a Spanish school.
