Culture shock

LOL- I had culture shock in USA- big time! The tipping, for instance. Why would that be expected? Don't these people get paid? Have they no unions or labour laws? How much do I tip and when? And don't get me started on the horrors of American cuisine- with its atrocious coffee and even worse tea, its mountains of chips
( fries) that would feed an entire tribe, its 5,000 choices of salad dressing,its fluorescent milk, its orange cheese, its greasiness and the ENORMOUS potions!!!!! Love the American people, but their food and religious nuts are scary!!!!!! On the positive side, I loved Halloween and Xmas in USA!!Babette24 Oct 2009, 01:12
