Since shortly i have decided to follow my dream and to start my own business in France with my wife. After reading a lot we got very enthusiastic.
However, i just read an article in which was mentioned that it is very difficutl to start your own business in france. For example, with paperwork and that French authorities do not have sympathy at all for people (especially foreigners) starting own business in France. Is this true or exaggerated? Anyone negative experiences with starting a business in France and the authorities?
I have been to France and people are polite - if you want to do business in France my suggestion is to contact the Europa Commission and Taxation office, where they will refer you to the council to do so. You will require the necessary funds to set up your business, which i presume you do so. If you are intending to start Alcohol type business then definitely you'd need a license other wise talk to the locals and see what they have to say about what you intend to do...
