Offshore Banking

After reading your info on Offshore Banking I have to ask is this up to date. I have had said account in Jersey for 4 years. In 2006 I was sent an EU Directive stating I had the option of paying tax in Jersey or giving Jersey permission to declare the income to Greece where I am a resident.
