Settlement visa for spouse

I'm and Irish citizen, and am marrying my Moroccan fiance in February, we intend on settling in Ireland and I am looking for advice on how we go about applying for a settlement visa. What is required etc. If anyone has any experience or advice we'd really appreciate it

Hi,
I am in the same situation - my finance is here as a student he finishes up his course in the next few months. We marry next month and would like to know more details about him finding a visa

Spouse Visa
Hey I just read your posts I see 2 other people are in similar situations to me! Well sort of similar....I live in Italy with my Moroccan husband we have been married 2 years I met him in 2001 in Italy where he was living illegally....We got married here in 2006 and applied for a residence permit for him in 2006....we have been waiting since then...we just got a negative response...I had planned on moving back to Ireland and applying from Morocco for a visa to come a nd join me ! But I see Morocco hasn't got a Irish embassy....do I have to apply to the embassy in Portugal?
