Best schools

• The English School (www.tes.edu.kw) in Salmiya is the school which was originally set up by employees of the British Embassy. It has the highest ratio of British children - a little oasis of Englishness in Kuwait! There are also non-Brits but children have to speak good English. The standards are equivalent to UK, so your children will not fall behind the UK system while you are out here. It's hard to pick a school without visiting but once you have a look around and compare this school will stand head and shoulders above the rest. It caters for ages 2 and a half up to 13.
