Hi
Can my girlfriend visit me in Kuwait for one week
would she have to stay in a hotel or can she stay with me?
would she get a visiting visa fairly easy?
if she likes Kuwait she will move there but
I know we would have to get married before we can live together?
Can she come through on a 3 month visiting visa and can we get married in Kuwait?
After getting married would she then be able to live with me and get a working permit?

You don't mention her nationality, this would have an impact on whether a visit visa is possible or not.

I am a Canadian original backround german , my boyfriend is from kuwait we met in canada and he moved back to kuwait i went to visit him in december of 2007. I arrived in the airport and applied for my visa i just told them that i was visting family , i got my visa right away and was respected for being canadian. i didnt have on problem i am now moving there and of course getting married as for your girlfriend it is best she stay in a hotel.kuwait very open people new we werent married we still walked around the malls holding hands go for diner ! go to movies ! very relaxed!Annoymous12 May 2008, 04:06 - Report

Visa's to Kuwait depends on nationality mostly and cause of visa ...
If its a visit visa and your boyfriend / girlfriend needs it then you can arrange it with whoever you work for ..
For those of you that are asking about visit visa;s and are from Thailand ... you are asking for soemthing impossible.

Hello to everybody,
I may have the opportunity to work in Kuwait, and I have some questions regarding my girlfriend, and the visas.
I´m from western Europe, and I know I will get an employment visa. As I said, I´m not married, but would like to bring my girlfriend with me, and of course, live with her in the same house.
Is that really a problem? What visa will she get if she comes with me?
Whenever you apply for the visa, how do you demonstrate whether you are married or not?

I just returned from 1 week in Kuwait, visiting my boyfriend. I didn't have any problem getting a visit visa. I bought it at the airport upon arrival, they didn't ask me any questions.

Is it ok for my girlfriend to bring a jar full of pictures of her dog to prove her dog lives with us. There will be hundreds of pictures of the dog in different poses, proving that only we have been with the dog in the past. In one of the pictures the dog is actually getting into the jar and we took many pictures of it. Ok, LOL in one the dog licked the inside of the jar (that the pix are in) and we got a photo of the dogs tongue with a small picture stuck on it, and now THE picture is in the jar, proving we know the dog and he is part of our family.
