I just like to ask if there are malls in new zealand/and what other shops can we find there?do you have grocery stores?and what time do they usually open and/or close?
and also what is the mode of transportation within the city if you do not have any vehicle?
there are malls in new zealand. they might be smaller than the ones in your country, wherever you're from. and where would one buy food in our capitalist world economy, if not in a grocery store??
they have any kind of shop you can wish for. stay in the big cities if that is very important to you. some of them are open 24/7, most of the grocery stores and warehouses are open until late at night.
busses run in the cities as well.
