Norway offers many sights to see, both rural and urban. Having such a diverse terrain allows for many beautiful landscapes as well as museums, historical cities, cathedrals and much more.

Velmunden Fjorda

One of the most popular canoeing destinations in eastern Norway. It is a beautiful landscape of of islands and lakes where you can rent canoes and rowboats. There are many camping areas to stay in that also offer tent rentals. Fully equipped cabins can be rented as well.

The Geirangerfjord

The Geirangerfjord is located on the western side of Norway and is one of Norway's most visited tourist locations. It is a long narrow inlet, also called a “fjord”, that is surrounded by three beautiful waterfalls. There are also various historical farms that can be visited - some only accessible by boat.

Nidaros Cathedral

This is a breathtaking Roman Catholic cathedral located in central Norway in the city of Trondheim. It is one of the biggest cathedrals built in Europe and definitely the most important in Norway. They offer many tours to show off its 14th century artwork as well as its gothic, medieval architecture.

Changing of the Royal Guard in Oslo

The changing of the Royal Guard takes place in the Royal Palace of Oslo where the King of Norway lives. It occurs daily at 13:10 no matter what the weather is like. The best part about it is that it is free for anyone to watch and it also very fun for kids.

The North Cape

Some of the most magnificent views can be found at the North Cape of Norway. It is located on the island of Magerøya in northern Norway. It is a steep cliff that towers over the Norwegian. sea. It is known as the northernmost point of Norway and is definitely a must see location.

Aurora Borealis

Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights are one of the world's most breathtaking natural phenomenons. They can best be seen in the northernmost part of Norway in the months of October, February, and March.
