  • Fiscal number is easy. Just go to finances with your passport and join the right queue, get a piece of paper, change buildings, join another queue, pay money a few euros, go back to first building, join another queue and your done. P.S. Its likely the 2 hour lunch break will occur sometimes between queues so allow a day to do it! The joys of Portuguese beaurocaracy!

  • Your Fiscal number also allows you to open a bank account, so once you get working, you wont have to keep your money under the matress!
