Romania has many good universities to choose from. The capital city Bucharest has several very well established universities popular amongst international students.
However one may find the sheer size of Bucharest, the traffic and higher living costs less attractive than the other cities in Romania which have so much to offer.
Romania is popular amongst international students looking for study abroad education in the medical field. Students from all around the world study medicine, dentistry and pharmacy in Romania. The fees are very affordable, living conditions are favorable and the standard of education very high.
An important factor for international students is the language of study. Many Romanian medical schools offer their 6 year program in English. One can also study engineering, business management and film/theater/acting available in English.
Some of the well known universities are those found in Iasi (GT POPA), Cluj and Timisoara.
We advise most of our clients to avoid Bucharest and look at one of the other cities instead.
