Living with a Russian family

I want to go as an aupair to Russia and live with a Russian family. But I'm a little bit scared because I've heard that Russians are very strict in everything... I mean I don't have anything against rules etc., but I also want to enjoy my stay in Russia. Anybody has some experience with Russian families??

I think your experience will very much depend on the type of family. As in most countries, there are quite a lot of differences in living styles in Russia. For example, you might end up in a tiny village in a conservative, catholic region. Or you live with post-modern family in Moscow and have complete freedom. However, most aupairs find their experience in a Russian family a pleasant one. And if you go with one of the many aupair-organizations, so can always change families if things don't go along.

russians are orthdox not catholic,
so the chances to live in a village with conservative catholics are 1%.
