Hello. There are alot of indian restaurants here in Riyadh, the best one in my opinion is Avadh on Tahlia street, it's very good but a little bit expensive, a Makni, Tekka Masalla, or Kadai meal is not less than 40 riyals. There's also a nice place called Spice, it's not as good as Avadh, but it is still very delicious and affordable, and of course there are many other indian food stores and charge very reasonable prices, if you need anything don't hesitate to contact me:
hii..iv jus cum to riyad recently...and in desperate need of sum indo-pak cuisine..hav been to few of th restaurants here...i find food of "lasani" really nice..do try it outt sumtime..
I have tried Avadh and all the others ,I am very sorry to say that I beg to differ with a few of the comments above ,Awadh is way a rip off and Spice is nothing close to Indian Food ,our best experiences are with Indian Summer great food and great value for money ,dnt waste your time guys heed our advice .
wE Tried several places till we hit the jackpot wt Indian Summer ,they have three locations and they have a great lunch buffet which we go to atleast thrice a week ,all i can say is two thumbs up ,beleive its run and managed by an Indian lady entreprenuer ,need to congratulate her .
hi am very sorry and beg to differ Malaz and sholay are very below average mediocar places and not fit for atleast middle class families atleast I would never think of dining there with my family and more over they are far from indian authentic cuisine ,unless your goal is cheap food and you dnt care about quality and hygiene our fav haunt has been Indian Summer ,tried copper chandini too food i snot bad but way over priced and no value for money and they are custom made for local preferences
friends i took a suggestion from this blog on eating at Indian Summer and am glad to let you guys know it was a wonderful experience reminded me of my home ,delhi good food and even nicer people two thumps up
