The life style allows for it, you do not have to have a maid, but having one creates employment. If you have a maid that works more than 20 hours a month you must pay for Unemployment Fund. Some people have someone to do ironing and windows once a week, others have live in depending on your property and needs. I have a lady that comes in 4 times a week and a friend of mine has a house boy who does domestic as well as gardening. Basically the choice is yours and depends on your lifestyle
