Hi,
I went to SA on a voluntary visa and had to leave a deposit so when i came back i tried to collect it. The SA embassy in London is not budging with the fact that i wasn't given a receipt for it when i originally got it (all had to be done by post I'd like to add). They now wont give my deposit back as i dont have a reciept (which i never had).
Any one else have this problem?
I also applied by post but they gave me a receipt. If you have saved your email communications with whoever you dealt with at the Embassy in London (they also gave me hell by the way) you might stand a chance. And as if they don't record all the monetary transactions they receive?
