Sources inside the Conselleria for the Territory have revealed that the nearest the Medoil platforms could come to the coast is near El Saler, where they will be 5 Kms offshore. The request has been published in the Official States Bulletin, which allows other companies two months to present similar or better offers for the same area. Currently Medoil is involved in offshore drilling near Tunisia and Malta.

The Internet is currently running hot with speculation as to what today may bring from a new refusal by Iran to shut down its uranium-enrichment activities to a possible nuclear attack against Israel.
