To obtain the Thai drivers licence you will need to provide:
- proof you have good knowledge of the Thai language
- a valid passport with a valid non-immigration visa and signed copies
- a medical certificate
- 2 passport photos
- a valid international driving licence
Until recently, it was possible to purchase your driving licence in Thailand without passing any exams. As these drivers are still on Thailand´s streets, you should have a proper think before entering Thailand's traffic jungle.
