Gold card in Austria??

Credit card is always linked to your bank account, there is no scheme like the one in Australia. And in most cases they/bank automatically take out the money our of your account at the end of the month.
CC is only practical when purchasing over the web other then that you would mostly use your debit card (maestro or EC/EuroCheck)
