Why are the Swiss so settled?

Of all the people I know, the Swiss are the most settled I know. They never want to leave Switzerland. Why do the Swiss not want to work in Rumania or Poland for instance? Jobs in Poland and Rumania are good now. Money is not all in life. I suggest the following exchange: Swiss work in Poland/Rumania and Polish/Rumanians work in Switzerland. Like this Europe is like one big country and there would be peace. Everybody against that idea is a racist.
