Not sure about your French license but I've just arrived from Scotland and was told I could drive here for 1 year. Within a year you can just change it over to a Swiss one but after that you need to sit a test.
Does anyone know how I would go about replacing my Swiss driver's license that was stolen. I am back in the U.S. and I was pick pocketed here. I am no longer living in Switzerland, but it is only temporary. Any ideas on how I might get my license back?
