Greek Orthodoxy

If you live in Greece do you have to be Greek Orthodox? I know that there are others of other denominations who live over there, but really my question is - would it be better be part of the Greek Church? You see my other half is soon to start with a Greek Company and there is a chance after the trial period that we could be sent to Greece, I was just wondering within this instance if it would be better for us\me to become Orthodox?

Greek Orthodox
No, you do not have to be Orthodox to live in Greece,
but to ask "are you orthodox"is the same as asking
"are you Greek".
Unless you are a church goer and like long services, and speak Greek ,i can see no point in becoming Ortodox,.
But you cannot be buried in agreek cemetary unless you are orthodox, and under Greek law there is no cremation
for orthodox or any other relegion at this time
