Bank Accounts in Switzerland

I am trying to open a bank account in Switzerland to have a regular payment paid in each month. Some banks wont consider you unless you have CHF50,000 to invest and others will open a current account but deduct 35% tax each month and only give interest of 0.875%.

how does it works to open a benk account
in Schweiz ' Do they ask you a letter of
reference as in Uk ?
It would really awkward to do it,
if they want it , I will give up.
