I´m going for a scolarship to Seibersdorf aswell. As far as I know, you can get Seibersdorf by train and by bus from Vienna (it´s 40 km distance). There are regular trains from the Southern train station in Vienna together with a shuttle bus service to the research center. In addition, there is a free bus service from three different locations in Vienna to the campus and back that you can use. People living there recommend me to live in Vienna instead of Seibersdorf because it probably will be more fun for my staying.
