Buying electronics in ebay.com, amazon.com

• Why is it that only a small percentage of vendors ship goods to Canada. I tried shopping in the Canadian site of http://www.Amazon.ca and http://www.ebay.ca but the item selection is dismal.

  to make it short, US retailers in Canada who set up their own shop need to find a way of quantifying which goods correspond to the USA and which ones to Canada. That is why they separate it.
  
  Why is the selection so different? well, maybe canadian consumers are not that demanding.
  
  Also if you buy a product and the USA and ship it to Canada, you are at the mercy of Canadapost (the canadian mail). They may open your package to establish the taxes to be paid. I have had some experience with this, so watch out
