Net salary / cost of living in Antverpen - Mol area
Hi, can anyone tell me what is avarage monthly cost of living for a single in Antverpen/Mol area assuming renting a flat, avarage spendings on electricity, food, car or public transport, etc?02 Dez 2008, 08:19 Emi
High level, this is what you can expect monthly:
Flat rental 700EUR
Other costs, electricity, heating & water: 100
Phone package w/internet, international calls & digital TV: 58
1 litre of petrol ~1.3EUR so you can make calculations. Car Insurances are not cheap in BE.
Food is around the same price as similar cities in Euro zone. Inflation is supposed to be negative during 2009 in BE, so don't expect prices to go up.
Dinner for two in stylish areas mid range restaurant ~70EUR incl. drinks.
Then, it depends on where you want the flat rental, what mileage you make, how often you go out for meals, etc.
hope this helps. Regards.Cristina 28 Jan 2009, 04:36 - Verstoß melden
I have lived near Mol for nine years. We had a 2 bedroom flat till last year, it cost 400EUR/month, in a fairly new building. Public transport costs in Belgium are very cheap compared to the UK. 7EUR to get from Mol to Antwerp by train, single bus rides (more expensive than a season ticket) are 2.70EUR. Commutng by bike is common and safe.roytheboy 12 Feb 2009, 08:27 - Verstoß melden
