Appartment in Firenze

• Hi, we are a young couple, no children yet and we are planning on moving to italy soon. We live in Germany right now. I am Italian and my husband is Canadian. We intend to move ito Florence but don't really know where to look for appartments. We would like to live close to downtown, but not straight in downtown where all the tourists are. Does anyone know good sites for appartments and does anyone know how much we should expect for a 2-bedroom appartment, not in the center of Florence.

  I have been on the hunt for apartments in Florence as well. My husband and I are will be traveling to Florence this winter. I always try Craigslist for apartments but this time I got lucky doing a search on studentsville.it and we are 28/30 so it's not just for college students. The apartment I found is pretty reasonable, 900euro for a huge loft on Borgo Ognissanti which is a great area. I could send you the link to the site and the man's name that is helping us, he may be able to point you in the right direction. Good Luck!
