Here is the Truth about Switzerland

  • I have lived in switzerland for 4 years, still no swiss friends. swiss really don't like to have friends from other countries and they don't like to involve other people in their circle of friends. Worst of all is they think they are the best, and their way of doing things and their quality of life is the best, when in reality they are closed-minded and extremely rigid, not accepting anybody else or any other way of doing things. They work horribly inefficiently, slow, and customer service really sucks, no communication whatsoever. Completely unfriendly land of assholes and banks.

  • You must have a very closed mind your self!

Maybe you did something wrong..??!!! I lived there myself for 3 years. Let me tell you,- if I wouldn't like it for 3 months I would move..!
    I experienced the total opposite!
The way you look in the mirror is the way other people see you!

It is not because you were lucky enough to experience the opposite that the observations of InTheKnow are not worthwhile.

In the US there are many different social realities. If someone only experiences the happy and comfortable, they still wouldn't be justified to deny the existence of many problems in the US and the situations where the system fails people.

Also, sayings are nice but not always relevant. What would be of the validity of social movements such as womens' rights if all frustration and negativity was simply due to projection and faulty personal attitudes?

Often the social critics are simply those who are more perceptive and observant of their environment.
