staying in Cyprus

  • sir, I am an Asian, I arrived in Cyprus as a tourist on "C" visa and unfortunately my visa has expired. Can I prolong my visa and stay here for a while. People's advice is contradicting. Many thanks in advance.

    In pevious years this might have been possible, but unfortunatly there are new laws. I myself don't know how strict they are. But I did hear from someone that they will go more towards bringing in Europeans as oppose to Asians. However if you are a wealthy Asian I think they might overlook this. I think they are stricter on granting work visas to the poorer people.

    I know it sounds ridiculous but its all about money on the end.

  • what are the things i needed to get a visa at point of entry

    i am a nigerian,i will to travel to north cyprus as a tourist, and i make to understand that i can only get an entry visa on poont of entry in north cyprus,pls i will if i can get a visa with a voucher,if not please i will like to know the procedure.

    With reference to your web site, I am Indian passport holder doing business in Nairobi, Kenya, exporting African handicraft, wood curving and antiques. I have been traveled quite numbers of African countries. I would like to apply temporary permit of Cyprus. Please let me know the visa requirements and fees. Please keep in your mind that I can provide traveler's cheque instead of bank statement.
    My main purpose of visiting Poland is to see the country and also explore possibility of getting some commodities which can be exported to Kenya & Poland.
