Studying Abroad in Dubai

  • Hello! I am surprised to find that this subject has not surfaced. I have read culture and racism threads about Dubai and am unable to gather an answer...So here it goes:
I am a white, 21 year old, female from the States. I am planning on studying abroad in Dubai and Australia; two complete sides of life. How do foriegn exchange students get treated? I am respectful and I can adapt quite easily. Do you think I would have a problem with the locals, police, or nightclub bouncers? Thank you!
