My take so far on Germany.

• I have been here in Berlin for 1yr 2 months and 21 days. It isn't what I expected or had hoped for. I really should have stayed put where I was but that's all hindsight and hindsight is 20/20. All the other crap that people have been complaining about I can get along with. The number 1 problem that I have is WORK! I have never a seen a system that is so overcomplicated. What's worse is it seems that they purposely made it so complicated just to keep me on welfare and far away from a little word called success. Now I know some of you may have already written me off as negative or uninformed and you're entitled to your opinion. However, I have well founded reason for everything that I have stated up to this point. What's sad is I used to really love Germany that was before I got to know her. Now I may be wrong about her and I have heard that Berlin is not a good representation of Germany but if that isn't the case then I'm really disheartened by what I've experienced thusfar. If anyone is interested I'd more than happy to explain my story and the reason for my current negative appraisal of the place but only negative in the sense that they really seem to be closed minded when it comes to work. my email is yinyang4321 @ yahoo dot de feel free to mail me.
