visa stamping with work permit

i am on a green card. my residence permit was till end of 2005 and now it is till 2007. my visa is stamped with the name of the company. so if i get a new job here then is it possible to get a new stamping or is it possible to change the original stamping so that i can work for any company. please let me know the process involved.
