Volunteer Visa

  • My husband and I are moving to Ireland soon (from the US) and have been told we'll need a volunteer visa in order to live there. Does anyone know the exact items we'll need to bring to apply for the visa? I seem to find a variety of differing (and some similar) items and am not completely sure.

  • Visa

Hi, I am also from the US and also living in Ireland. This is what you will need: Passport, a letter from the organization you are working with, a letter from the organization that is supporting you, proof of health insurance, and bank records. Depending on where you will be living you will not need to show all of these but you will need to have them just in case. Also the fee is 150euro to be paid by credit card only. Hope this helps.
