Looking to rent a 2-3 bedroom apartment in rome

  • Hi,
Im movign to Rome September 1st with my husband and small baby. We are looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom apt located fairly centrally.
Do you think we should rent somewhere temporary for 2 months while we look around ? we have been told that sept-oct is very hard to find an apt so would we best to wait until November before we start to look?
Any suggestions on best places to look given that we dont speak italian yet?

    Thanks

    Aleen

  • apartment to rent in central ROme

    Hello Aleen,

I don't know if this can suit your needs, so I hope. I leave in Rione Monti (via Palermo), 5mins walk to P.zza Venezia, Colosseo) in a nice 2 beds apartment, 2 floors, 80sqm. I'm leaving for holidays and my apartment will be available for July, August and the first 2 weeks of september. I would love to find a nice family to rent the apartment at the same monthly price I pay. Nothing more. Tell me if you are interested in it, even for just a month. Cheers

We rent our 80 mts sunny and quiet fully furnished apartment, set on the second floor at the end of a small street, within walking distance from Vatican City and S. Pietro railway station (Monte del Gallo) very near to metro connection and shops.
There are 2 bedrooms, one leading to balcony , a big living room with 3 windows, nice views on to trees and over the city .
The kitchen has gas stove and electric oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine.
There is 1 bathroom with bath & shower combination
The price is 1600 E uro excluding bills

This apartment would be ideal for a familgy who has two young children because there is a nice wooden bunk bed on the second bedroom.

  • apartment in Rome

    Hi Aleen,

I owe an apartment in Rome (St Peter's area, Nicolò III, you can see the place on Google map, I guess). My present tenants will move in mid/ end September and the apartment will be available from October 1th.Is a 3 bedrooms apartment (4th floor), with separate kitchen, living room e 1 bathromm. I think you might contact my tenants (a German couple with 3 children) and ask them if they have been happy about it or not. You can find the description of it in Wanted in Rome's web site.
Please let me know if you want to know more of if you want to get in touch with my tenant's family

    Regard
