American living in Italy, looking for work.

  • I have been living in Italy for almost a year and a half. I moved here with my husband (who is a native of Italy) and my son (who at the time was three month old). I was previously living in Los Angeles, CA. Now, living in the small town of Pennabilli (about 30-40 min. to Rimini) it has been difficult for me to find work. I work small jobs once in awhile for locals.

I completely understand Italian, I continue working on speaking it everyday. I am also fluent in Spanish, and of course English. I have a MFA in Costume Technology, a BFA in Textiles and Design, and an Associate of Arts degree in Merchandising and Design.

I am a very motivated person. It has been difficult for me not working. At this point I am up for any job. I am a fast learner and I have excellent computer and secretarial skills. It must be a job I can free-lance or work at home since I do have my son to take care of.
