Do you, Italy??

  • If you don’t like noisy places, waiting and eating, then, don’t go to Italy!
If you don’t like mothers or football, then, don’t marry an Italian man!
If you want to have a sure and trusting business, then, don’t work in Italy!
Italy, the country of passion people say. Where men are the best lovers and women are the best looking. Prejudices are really all over the place.
Men seduce a lot, but then, if you don’t get along with the mother, father and the 15 cousins on both sides, you are in troubles. Women are beautiful, true, but then, if you don’t believe them repeating with sarcasm that everything on them is ‘real’ you might get in troubles.
Once in Italy is important to immediately know the names of the celebrities, have a good memory for phone numbers and access to internet and have a strong interest for football, especially Italian teams or you won’t be able to have any conversations.
The language barrier, important in every country slightly exist in Italy, even thought people mostly only speak Italian, they have this amazing power of learning a bit of every language and then invent the rest, so just say ‘Bella Italia’ and everyone is happy!
Italian people go out a lot to eat and the menu is usually very differentiate and full of choice, be prepared to find a few types of pasta and toppings and it will be a good idea to learn the names!
Italy has changed in terms of tolerance; certain laws became quite strict, such as the smoking one for example. So if you see more people outside a restaurant then inside you don’t need to ask if it’s permitted to smoke.
So go there and if you love it, it will love you back!

Drinking alcohol of all kinds, but especially wine, is as important as speaking the language (if not more); learn to appreciate red wine, and even if you don’t like it pretend you do!

And if you go to south italy, learn to spikke likke vitto corleone, or, if you are a woman, be prepared to dress only black all the time, spend your time cooking and praying only the madonna.

So, I think I queued myself to the other very well conceived and intelligent suggestions...

Why do you think that in Italy we are at Middle Age still?

I mean, if you think that really you have to go through all this troubles, then simply avoid them: is really worth for some food and some sun to please these STUPID ITALIANS ???

On the other side, if you are enough open minded, go simply there and try to see and enjoy the life, learn the language, visit the cities, speak with the people: the intelligent people will have something interesting to teach you anyway (is not so everywhere?), the stupid you will be able to discern and to avoid by yourself...

  • Do you Italy

How long do you really need to stay in Italy to see the real Mama's boy who is waiting to be found by woman who will be pratically his second mom and wife?
Italians are sooo proud of their foods.. they want the Genocide on foods, which makes tralvers so difficult to find other ethnic foods other than Italian.
Italians surely like to hang at the Piazza, cafes, in front of someone's store... to talk about Soccer, of course!, sex (mainly men) or asking each other A FAVOR.. .

Italy is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited and I highly recommend everyone to see the country. They have a warm heart and are such a giving people once they got to know you. They complain alot.. I truly belive Italians beat the world notorious French when it comes complaining...

Nevertherless, Go there and make friends. You will have a blast.
