NHI vs. Private Care

I am moving to Japan in a year to work. In terms of health care, is registering for NHI worth it? I think it would be easier to pay for the universal care than do they whole private thing, but if the care´s lousy i don´t want to do it. thoughts?

If you don´t speak good Japanese you should get a private doctor so that you can communicate better.
