  • Marken, Volendam, Muiden

You can go visit The Zaanse Schans.

There are a lot of original old buildings placed together so it resembles an old village.

If you want to see small old towns you can take a bustrip to Marken en Volendam. Bustrips starting from Damrak in Amsterdam.

I myself fancy Muiden en Muiderslot.

  • Old dutch villages

If you want to see an old dutch village Volendam is really old Dutch. You can travell by bus. When you travell from Amsterdam Central Station you can travell with the bus who goes to Monnickendam, but this bus stoped in Volendam.

    A good journey
