Graphic Design Job Opportunities

I am planning to travel to New Zealand next year and was planning to make it a working holiday. But have now decided to try get a job in my chosen field as a graphic designer i have a BA in my field and experience as a designer for television. I am basically wondering how the job market is in the creative industries in New Zealand as in Scotland there are not many jobs going.
Advice would be greatly appreciated
